About the Common Read

The Common Read program at Nevada State University sparks conversation, community-building, and curiosity via curricular and co-curricular engagement with the Common Read book selection, selected biennially. The program is sponsored by the Office of the Provost and coordinated by the University Library in collaboration with the Common Read Committee.

All These Wonders is available to borrow for free from the Marydean Martin Library in print and ebook formats. View all library copies here.

  • Physical books: Multiple copies are available to borrow from the library service desk on the 2nd floor of the Rogers Student Center (RSC) building. See the Library's Borrowing Items web page for checkout period details.

Using OverDrive for ebooks

Common Read ebooks are provided by the library through a platform called OverDrive. When you check out the ebook, you can read it via your browser or with your Kindle via the Libby app.

Using OverDrive’s Libby App

  • Download the app at overdrive.com/apps/libby.
  • In the app, search for Nevada State College. You will be prompted to enter your “library card” details, which is simply your NSHE ID and password.
  • From there, you can access library books through the app, connect your Kindle, manage your loan details, and more.
