The library offers free access to the Washington Post online, from 2005- present. The Washington Post is a daily newspaper published in Washington, D.C. with a large national audience.

Follow the steps below to create your free Washington Post account.  Returning users can go directly to WashingtonPost.com to login.

*The library's subscription includes all news, analysis, live chats, and more.  Please note, our subscription is for the web version of the Post; mobile apps are not included.

First Time Users: Create Your Free Washington Post Account

First Time Users: To activate your free access to WashingtonPost.com, follow these steps:

1. Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com/subscribe/signup to sign up with your Nevada State email address and choose a password.

2. Verify your account: 

  • Click your name in the right-hand corner,  open My Post, and select Manage Account.   If your email address is not yet verified, select the option to receive a verification email.

3. Claim your free access:

  • Go to the Subscription & Billing tab
  • Select "Activate free digital access"

Browse. Selected popular topics are listed along the top, below the masthead. 

Access podcasts and more. Select "Sections" at the top left for podcasts, video, live chats, & more.
