The Marydean Martin Library at Nevada State College is the first digital library in the state of Nevada with roughly half a million ebooks. We also have about 15,000 print books available by request.
Below is basic information about how to search for books and ebooks from the library homepage. Visit the Ebook Databases tabs in this guide for specific information about using particular ebook databases such as Overdrive or Ebook Central. Visit the Print Books tab for information about finding and requesting print materials.
The best way to search for books at the Nevada State College library is through the search box on the library homepage at http://library.nevadastate.edu. You can also access the search tool directly here.
After searching you can limit to Books under format. If you are only interested in print books or ebooks, you can limit the the search results by hovering over the Physical Items filter. Selecting the empty check box will limit the search results to only print books. Selecting the red check box will remove all print books from the search results, limiting the search to ebooks only.
To see the full options for requesting print books you will need to sign in using your NSHE ID and password.
Click on the title of a book to see links to ebook access options or information on how to request physical copies which will either be available at the library front desk or will need to be requested from storage. It may take up to one business day for the library to bring a book requested from storage to the front desk for checkout.
