Below is basic information about how to search for books and ebooks from the library homepage. Visit the Ebook Databases tab in this guide for specific information on locating ebooks. Visit the Print Books tab for information about finding and requesting print materials.

Search for Books

The best way to search for books is through the search box on the Library homepage at http://library.nevadastate.edu. You can also access the search tool directly here.

After searching you can limit to Books under format. If you are only interested in print books or ebooks, you can limit the the search results by hovering over the Physical Items filter. Selecting the empty check box will limit the search results to only print books. Selecting the red check box will remove all print books from the search results, limiting the search to ebooks only.

To see the full options for requesting print books you will need to sign in using your NSHE ID and password.

Click on the title of a book to see links to ebook access options or information on how to request physical copies. All physical books can be picked up at the Library Service Desk. For instructions on how to request print books, please visit the Print Books tab of this guide.
